We're picking back up on our Fall/Halloween crafts this week.
Today we made pumpkins w/ hand print stems!!
This was a very simple, cute craft to do & you can do it with just about any kid of any age.
Of course, my kids love painting,
so naturally, that was their favorite part of this one.
Here's what you'll need:
Paper plates
White paper (or green/brown construction paper)
Crayon (Or something to trace hands with)
Scissors
Paint
Paint brush
Glue
Now to the fun stuff!
-Trace little hands.
-Cut them out & have the kids color them.
Set aside for later =)
-Paint your paper plates orange--these are the pumpkins =)

-Let them dry, then draw on/paint on a face.
(If not doing a Jack'O Lantern, skip this part)

-Glue the traced hand to the back of the paper plate.

Finish by placing your child's name and the year on the back of their pumpkin.
See, easy peasy & super cute!!
After our craft, it was snack time!
I had seen, on Pinterest of course, where someone sliced and apple & then used cookie cutters
to cut out a shape in the middle of each slice.
Well, I gave it a go with my awesome leaf cookie cutters
& guess what?
They came out so cute!!
The kids thought it was the coolest thing!!
Go mom!!

So we had out snack then went out to play in some of the pretty leaves that had blown into the yard.

We ended the day with a drive and a walk to just enjoy the weather, the trees & each other =)

See why I love Fall so much??
The little things can turn into big memories!!
